The Buying Guide

You're considering buying a boat ?

Firstly, thank you for considering TRR Powerboats. For the past 10 years, we have been supplying new and used craft of all types and have many satisfied customers as a result of this. We will use our extensive knowledge and experience in the marine trade to assure you make the right decision for you and your familys boating needs, wheather its all action water sports or relaxing cruising you are looking for we do it all.

New Boats

Purchasing a new boat is totally unique to each customer, as boats are built to order to cater for individual needs, such as engine size, interior, and finishing touches. The build time on a new craft is usually 12-16 weeks, so the ideal time to place an order is August - December, this ensures plenty of time to prepare the boat for the following spring. A deposit of 20% is required to start the building process, with the balance payable before the boat leaves the factory. All deposits are non refundable.

Brokerage 

We also have an extensive range of pre-owned craft which we sell on behalf of the owner. These craft are given the once over by our marine technicians and water tested to ensure full working order. Unlike new boats, all brokerage boats are sold as seen and are not covered by warranty, unless manufactures warranties are still valid. A deposit of £500 will secure any brokerage stock, the balance payable within 14 days unless prior arrangements have been made.

Demonstrations

We are happy to demonstrate any of our boats, with a qualified operator. However a deal has to be made in principle, subject to a water test. This means for the seller of the boat unnecessary hours are not being added to the boat.

 Finance

Finance can be arranged for new and second hand craft. Typical rates are 10.1% APR fixed rate unsecured loan and can be repaid from 24 to 180 months. see one of the sales team to arrange a quote.

Warranties

All new Four Winns craft come with a manufactures warranty as follows, Lifetime; structural components of the hull and deck , 5 years; osmotic hull blistering, 2 years; non structural parts and components and 1 year; against cracking or fading of the exterior gel coat finish. These warranties are all subject to servicing conditions.
